About Swami ji

Maharishi Bhrigu Pithadhishwar Goswami Sushilli Maharaj was born on 28' April 1945 at New Delhi (Capital of India) in a middle class family. The family was deeply religious having unflinching faith in Sanatan Dharma. Goswami ff's forefathers had migrated from Gokul village (Mathura-Vrindavan) to lakhanwal dist. Gujrat now in Pakistan to popularize Sanatan Dharma. They then settled down there after constructing a Krishna Temple, named Thakur Dwara. Ma haraj li's Grandfather Goswami Bhagat Ram ji was the seer of this prestigious mutt. Goswami Hs father Goswami Dina Nath li was a great scholar having command over Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu English and Persian languages. He had deep knowledge of Bhagwat Gita and was a renowned preacher. He left the world at the age of 100 years on sept 30/2004. His mother late Smt. Tara Devi was a humble, religious mother who loved Goswamiji Very much.

Goswami Ji created an insatiable desire for peace and love, a desire to alleviate the sufferings and sorrows of human society inspired Goswamiji to form the Maharishi Bhrigu Foundation in 1998. To fulfil his mission of 'OM SHANTI VISHWA SHANTE , Goswami Sushi' li Maharaj, at the age of 53, When he was at the peak of his career in the world of art, When he was the highest paid choreographer in the country, he renounced the world. He embraced Vaanprashtha in 1999 by the inspiration of seer of Shiv Bari Bikaner, Pujya Swami Samvit Somgiriji Maharaj. It was the pious place of Maharishi-Kapil Muni at Kulait in Bikaner. Goswamiji completely dedicated his life for the cause of Sanatan Dharma by embracing Sanyas in 2002 at Haridwar. To attain his goal Goswamiji under took tours throughout the world to spread the Mantra of OM SHANTI VISHWA SHANTI. Maharshi Bhrigu Foundation has been doing a yeoman service in spreading the Sanatan Dharma and reviving the otherwise dying Hinduism throughout the world. Goswamiji's message of love and peace i.e. OM SHANTI VISHWA SHANTI has been highly appreciated and adopted by Society all over the world. Unmindful of criticism and opposition Goswamiji has been going all alone with his mission gaining strength and zeal day by day with every achievement. Goswamiji emphasise the importance of ancient Sanatan Dharma as it is the religion of Humanity. It does not belong to any cast, creed or nation. It is universal and shall remain as long as there is life on earth. It is utmost necessary for the prosperity & happiness of human society. To provide education and training through Gurukul Tradition to enable them to lead a respectable life with dignity.

At present Goswamiji is a National Convenor of Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad (Parliament of all Religion).

Ancestral Legacy

After the partition of the country in 1948 his uncle/guru Late Goswami Ram Nathji founded a Thakur Dwara temple in Dev Nagar, Delhi. He was completely dedicated to Sanatam Dharma. Goswami Ram Nath Ji was a prominent Dhrupad Singer, an astrologer, a great preacher and a devotee of Goddess Ma Bhagwati. He had been the seer of the temple till his death in 1997. The pious and religious atmosphere had great effect on Goswami ji. It created an insatiable desire for peace and love, a desire to alleviate the sufferings and sorrows of human society.

Qualification and Achievements

He completed Higher Secondary education from Government Higher Secondary School, Dev Nagar. He has taken Diploma in ‘Painting and Decorating’ from ITI, Pusa in 1962 . He joined Fine Arts in Sharda Ukil Arts's College, New Delhi. He joined Bharatiya Kala Kendra in Ballet unit in 1964 to 1975. In this period he worked as a dancer, actor, set designer, costume designer, hear gears and ornaments designer, and light designer. He worked with the production of N.S.D, Kathak Kendra Natya Ballet Center, Sangeet Natak Academi and Song and Drama Division. He was appointed as conveyer National Art and Culture projects. He is recognised as the best choreographer, composer on national and international level and awarded by many awards. He was nominated as a member in Film Sensor Board, Ministry of Education [Culture], Sahatiya Kala Parisad Delhi and many other government and semi government organisations many times. His "Prem Srote Gurus" are Smt Sumitra Charat Ram, Sri Krishna Nair, Guru Gopi Nath, Sri Yog Sunder, Sri Ramesh Mehta, Sri Panchanan Pathak, Mr John Max Lobo, Shri K.K Sawant, Sri Tapas Sen. He worked with Pandit Birju Maharaj, Narendra Sharma, Sri Ebrahim Alkazi, Colonel Gupte, Sri Habib Tanvir, Sri Anand Shankar, Sri Surendra Mathu, Sri Ravi Shankar, Sri Varun Gupta, Sri Krishnan Nambudari, Sri K. Shekharan, Sahammi Narag and Sheron Pravhakar. He has participated in the various ballets of Bhartiya Kala Kendra, working with the same he traveled India and abroad by the I.C.C.R.
